Lowton Business Park Thriving as it Welcomes Several New Occupiers
24 August 2026Lowton Business Park has welcomed six new occupiers to site following a comprehensive site-wide refurbishment programme undertaken by the joint venture ownership of Property Alliance Group and Pitalia.
OBI represented the Landlord in the lettings, which has seen a total of over 3,000 sq ft of space occupied since the start of 2026. New tenants represent a number of industries; including construction, financial services, consultancy, and wholesale goods, demonstrating Lowton Business Park’s strength as an incubator of smaller and independent companies from across the North West.
Occupancy on site now sits at 95 percent, with current availability ranging from small incubator spaces of 200 sq ft, to larger offices for more established companies looking to put down roots on the A580 East Lancashire Road corridor. The site can also cater to industrial occupiers, with warehouse space available from 800 sq ft suited to everything from simple storage to light manufacturing.
Greg O’Hara, from OBI’s Regional office, said: “The level of success we have seen in Lowton since our appointment has been gratifying, and a real testament to the resource and time our client continues to invest in the scheme. The mix of occupiers we have managed to attract demonstrates the diversity of the local SME market, and the need for good quality incubator in which they can grow.”
Liam Walker, asset manager at Property Alliance Group, added: “The acquisition of Lowton Business Park marked a real opportunity for us to add significant value. Following our continued investment, the scheme is now only moving from success to success as we continue to see regional out-of-town assets remain in demand for local business occupiers. Our asset management expertise has driven a suite of works over the last 12 months with the aim of providing a product suited to the requirements of the local market. As well as welcoming new occupiers to the site, it is also heartening to see many occupiers choosing to renew and remain at Lowton Business Park.
